ASHBA Conference
The crew had a great time at the ASHBA Youth Conference in Kentucky this past weekend!
Our Youth Club won the Membership Award and Catie won the High Point Award for Junior Judging in Region 9.
Sasha, Addy, Kennedy, Lucia, Maggie, Amelia, Belle, and Liberty all won Academy Medals.

Southeastern Hackney Awards Banquet
Catie won Pleasure Pony Under Saddle for the 3rd year in a row! Julianne was Reserve Champion with Rain in Juvenile Pleasure Driving & Top 3 with Sassy in Juvenile Road Pony
March 12-14
ASAC Horse Show
First show of the 2026 season is in the books!
Catie debuted Callaways Still Woman Enough in the Three Gaited Pony Division and took home 2 blue ribbons.
Holly & Perfect Elizabeth took home the tri-color in the Amateur Park Championship after a strong reserve finish in the qualifier.
Kennedy debuted her new horse, Promised Assest (and also her first time showing in a suit) to blue ribbons rides in the Alpha/Limit Show Pleasure class.
Jenny had a nice catch ride on The Guinness Heiress to win the Amateur Three Gaited class.
Sasha made her out of academy debut in the Single Bit WTC class on Bree’s Fleur De Lis and was 4th both the qualifier & championship in the largest class of the horse show.

Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show

Julianne topped all of her classes, going 6 for 6 this past week. Rain won her Pleasure Driving classes, Sassy won her Juvenile Road Pony classes, and Leo won both his Juvenile Park classes

Ashley debuted her new horse Lukas to a blue ribbon in the Limit Gaited Pleasure class and then had a nice top 3 finish in the Adult Five Gaited Pleasure Championship

Catie continued her winning ways with Remi, taking home 2 more blue ribbons in the Three-Gaited Pony class

Sarah had a nice catch ride with Madi and moved up from her Reserve finish in the qualifier to win the Local Pleasure Horse Championship

Ella and Theo won their Juvenile Five Gaited qualifier

Lucia & Missy (in their debut) in Single Bit WT and took home blue ribbons in both classes

Holly & Elizabeth had a great ride in the Amateur Park class and came out with a 2nd place ribbon

Parker & Squid tackled a new division, Juvenile Country Pleasure, and had a nice top 3 finish in the Championship

Lauren & Adaline, also in Juvenile Country Pleasure, had a top 3 finish in the qualifying class

Kennedy & Rocky had 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the Alpha Show Pleasure classes

Sasha & Bree were 3rd and 4th in the Single Bit WTC classes
Melinda & Sheldon had a fun practice drive and Thomas, ridden by Jenny, had a great time working in the show ring. They are both looking forward to showing very soon!
Our Academy Team had a great day of showing. They were all teamed with Missy who had her debut as an Academy horse. Maggie had a 2nd and 3rd place finish in Walk/Trot 7-8. Amelia had a top 3 finish in a big Walk/Trot 11-13 Showmanship class. Belle brought home a 3rd and 4th place ribbon in WTC Green Rider. And Sutton, in her debut, WON the Lead line 8 & Under Showmanship class!
