OUR RECENT EVENTS:
ASHAV Horse Show - Lexington, VA
We always have a great time showing at the Virginia Horse Center. Lauren, Parker, and Ella were all named Reserve Champions in their Divisions. Parker & Ella also took home 2nd place finishes in their Qualifiers.
Melinda had 2 good rides in big Five Gaited Pleasure Classes, and the Academy Team of Addy & Amelia rode Spree to top ribbons in a very competitive Academy Division.

Jeanne & Nutcrackers Derby Day took home blue ribbons in both classes!

The Academy Team also had a great show!
The Show Rider girls started out the morning with Catie & Winston winning a blue ribbon in his Academy debut! Ella followed that with a blue ribbon on Val. Lauren had two solid rides on Noc and most importantly, made sure he was ready to carry the smaller kids for the day.

Belle also got to take Winston for a spin and came out with 2nd & 3rd place finishes.

Lucia took home a blue ribbon in Equitation & 4th place Showmanship on Spree.

Maggie had her off-the-leadline debut and was Top 3 in both classes.

Addy brought home a first place ribbon in her Equitation class & 2nd in Showmanship.

Amelia had good rides and took home 5th & 7th place ribbons.

Liberty made her Academy debut on Noc and brought home 5th & 6th place ribbons.
World Championship Horse Show - Louisville, KY
This year's trip to Freedom Hall was a good one!
Brookyln & CH Our Northern Belle brought home two 4th place ribbons in tough classes, Alex & Simon also garnered a 4th place ribbon and got to show back on Friday night in the Amateur Road Pony Championship. Julianne & Leo took a nice 5th place finish and Julianne showed Rain to 5th & 6th place ribbons. Holly made her Louisville debut with Elizabeth and had 2 good rides in tough Amateur Three-Gaited classes.
Asheville Summer Fun & Blue Ridge Horse Shows - July
Team Ingleside started off our two week stay in Asheville by competing at the Asheville Summer Fun Horse Show.
The show featured the new team of CH Our Belleman & Adrienne winning their debut in the Adult Show Pleasure qualifier and making a strong reserve finish in the Championship.
Honor Bound & Catie continued their winning ways and took home blue ribbons in both Pleasure Pony Under Saddle Classes.
Alex had her best drive yet with Heartland Cool Kid to win the Amateur Road Pony Class!
Holly had Perfect Elizabeth looking absolutely perfect to strong reserve finishes in both Amateur Three Gaited Classes.
Jeanne & Nutcrackers Derby Day also had a reserve finish in a nice Adult Country Pleasure Class.
Brooklyn & CH Our Northern Belle made a good show to be reserve in their Juvenile Country Pleasure Class.
Parker & CH Get Crackin had their best ride yet and came out with a top 3 finish in an always competitive Walk & Trot Pleasure Class.
Delaney & Undalatas Power Broker performed well in both Pleasure Equitation Classes and came out reserve in their Championship.
Jenny & Brees Fleur De Lis continue to have fun in the Local Pleasure Class and made a nice show to a 2nd place finish.
The Academy Team had some great rides on Spree & Dash!
The team had continued success at Blue Ridge with Catie & Woody adding 2 more blue ribbons to their collection, Julianne and Rain won both of their Pleasure Pony Driving Classes, Julianne and Sassy won their Juvenile Road Pony Championship, Adrienne had Bo had another good performance to a 2nd place finish in their qualifier, Cash and Delaney also had a reserve finish in their Championship Equitation Class, Julianne had Leo had a nice top 3 finish in the Juvenile Park Championship, and Lauren & Adaline put together two good rides in their Alpha Classes.
Barn Fun Show - Saturday, June 29th
Blowing Rock Horse Show
The show riders had a great time at Blowing Rock. We had beautiful weather & nice big classes. The hospitality at this show is amazing! Breakfast and lunch served every day and a big brunch on Sunday. The horses & ponies enjoyed the view from our stalls. Liberty Goguen won the SHHA Pig Toss and donated half on the money back to the organization! Holly, Julianne, Brooklyn, and Lauren all made victory passes! Finn, Red, Squid, Bree, and Woody all brought home 2nd place finishes.
Southern States Horse Show
Holly Johnson debuted with Perfect Elizabeth to win the Amateur 3-Gaited Championship & Qualifier. Parker & Get Crackin took their first victory pass in the 12 & Under Walk and Trot Pleasure Class. Julianne took 4 victory passes this week winning with Heartland Sing My Song in Pleasure Pony Driving & with Furioso in the Juvenile Park Class. Melinda & Swing Man won the Adult Five Gaited Show Pleasure Class. Catie & Honor Bound had two good rides and came out reserve in both classes. Lauren & Monnington Adaline were picture perfect for two reserve finishes in the Limit Rider Show Pleasure Class. Julianne also showed Anticipations Red Jacket to reserve finishes in both the Juvenile Road Pony Classes. Jenny had 2 great rides with Bree’s Fleur De Lis to a Top 3 finish in both Local Pleasure Qualifier & Championship Classes. Saadia had her first class showing a Morgan with LHF The Mistress and is looking forward to the next show!
Bonnie Blue National Horse Show
The Ingleside Show Team had another great show at the Bonnie Blue Horse Show in beautiful Lexington, VA. Brooklyn & Belle won their classes and in doing so, earned Belle's CHAMPION status!
Catie & Woody continued their winning streak adding 2 more blue ribbons to their collection.
Jenny & Finn were 2nd place in a very competitive Adult Country Pleasure class.
Melinda & Moose got a ribbon in their Five-Gaited Pleasure qualifier.
Ella & Cobain had a good ride in a strong class of Juvenile Show Pleasure riders.
Alex & Simon sped away with good ribbons in both of their Amateur Road Pony classes.
Barn Fun Show, Saturday April 20th
UPHA Chapter 18 Horse Show

Jeanne & Finn won both their Adult Country Pleasure Classes. Melinda & Moose had a top 3 finish in Adult Five Gaited Pleasure. Catie and Spree won the Walk & Trot Country Pleasure class. Lauren & Bentley and Ella & Val both received good ribbons in their classes.
The academy team had a great session with Addy winning both of her classes out of 7, Amelia was 3rd and 2nd out of 7, Belle had 2 second place finishes.
Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show
We had a great time at the Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show! We started off on Wednesday morning with a nice 2nd place finish for Jeanne & Finn in their new division, Country Pleasure. Jenny then took Parker Noble’s horse Squid for a spin and won the Open Walk and Trot Class.
The remaining sessions were just as successful, earning lots of top ribbons.
Alex Calisto and her road pony Heartland Cool Kid drove off with blue ribbons in the Open Road Pony qualifier and championship. This team has made a lot of progress over the winter, and we were excited to see them speeding around the ring for their victory passes.
Despite being sick with the flu, Brooklyn got in a blue-ribbon ride on her Country Pleasure horse, Our Northern Belle. Unfortunately, she wasn’t feeling up to showing in the championship class. This team has already earned top honors this year winning both classes at the ASAC horse show.
Melinda made her debut on Swing Man and is very excited to be back in the five gaited division with such a fun horse!
Ella and Cobain had top ribbons in what seems to be an always competitive division, juvenile show pleasure. This team continues to get better and is looking forward to their next show.
Parker showed her new horse in their debut to good ribbons in a very competitive walk & trot pleasure class. Her horse, CH Get Crackin , is a former world champion and has been a big step up for Parker. We are excited for the future of this new combination. Lauren and barn favorite Monnington Adaline made their debut in the Alpha class. It was Lauren‘s first time wearing a suit and showing out of Academy. They ended up reserve champions! Two of our best school horses got to make appearances in the show ring with Delaney showing Bentley to a reserve championship and Catie showing spree to a blue ribbon, both in equitation.
The ASAC Horse Show was great this year!
The weather was the best it’s been, the hospitality was top notch, exhibitors party was a blast, and the performances were great!
