Riding a horse is one of life's most fun and fulfilling activities. Perfect for children and adults, horseback riding is a great way to develop a special connection with the magnificent animal that is the horse. And for those who don't ride, driving is another means of enjoying equestrian activities.

We specialize in American Saddlebred horses and Hackney ponies, with opportunities to ride for pleasure and in competition.   We're located minutes from Wake Forest and just a short drive from Raleigh, Durham, Henderson, Rocky Mount and Wilson. Join the fun when you ride at Ingleside Farm!

There's nothing like riding a horse. Climbing into the saddle and breaking off at a trot gives you a sense of freedom, adventure and accomplishment you won't find anywhere else. We have riders of all ages, so you'll also have an opportunity to initiate and develop some great new human friendships, too.

There are many unmistakable health benefits of riding a horse, including body awareness, quick thinking, coordination, core strength, muscle tone and flexibility.  In addition, riding can increase cardiovascular capacity, sharpen mental acuity and improve emotional well-being. In short, it makes you feel good all over.

We love to compete, and we attend horse shows in the local Raleigh area, regionally in the Carolinas and Virginias, and even nationally. Horse show competitions offering classes for all levels of riders are available throughout the year, and we even attend the World's Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky!
